I became of a member of St Padre Pio this past summer. The church and Father Bob have been quite warm, welcoming, and supportive of myself and my family. This is my first time attending a smaller congregation, and I must admit, I am enjoying it. I believe some of you in larger churches who do not have a one-on-one relationship with your pastor should come check us out

Hello Father Bob, Thanks for speaking with me and listening to my concerns that have been troubling me for quite some time. I will look forward to our time again and will be coming back to you for regular confessions as you gave me peace and comfort without the guilt that I held on to for a long time. I belong to another local church here in the area and can't sign this email, because of my status and position with the church. But wanted others to read this that I have found a New Friend and a Wonderful Priest that truly lives up to the calling of being a Priest. I am not saying that there aren't so many out there that are, but there are exceptions in all places. Thanks again Father Bob and after meeting you seeing why God has placed a big heart in a big man of Christ. I wanted to come to check you out so to speak many times but often put it off. When I called you I never identified myself or indicated that I had a position in the Catholic Church, but that after spending time with you, it played on my heart to share that with you. You embraced and shared the love that flows from Christ through you to me in prayer and reconciliation of my sins as priests do. Thanks see you soon.

A wandering sheep...from Summerville said:   December 14, 2011 11:57 pm PST
Hey Father I am a Wandering Sheep and drive past your Church and see the sign and banners describing your Church on Old Trolley Road everyday. I attend Mass at another Catholic Church in Summerville and read terrible things posted about you and your Church that your not Roman Catholic. Sure perhaps but it sounds like reading these other posts and the way I feel about being a wandering sheep still even though attending is just the motions. I just don't get taken care of by those Shepherds and it appears that all they want is my money and not my soul, if that makes sense? I will be stopping by some Sunday to attend maybe Midnight Mass and meet you. I don't care if your not Roman this or that, Pope Benedict called you and your Kind of Church Catholic. I don't understand all this malarkey. And really don't want too either just politics to me and church mumble jumble.

Just took some time to read some of the latest testimonials and it completely reaffirms what we are doing as a church and that we are loving brothers and sisters in Christ! The Holy Spirit is with us and it transcends all denominatons, dogma and politics. I am blessed to be a part of this amazing and dynamic church! Please pray for Fr. Bob as he puts our spiritual needs and those of our families before his own! God Bless!
