Hi. Father Bob...you talk to me at the Farmers Market last Saturday. More like listened to me, hearing my confession. Thanks you for that. It's long time since my last confession. Hope to visit your church soon although visit you at the market again. Since a vendor too.

I am looking for a church to go to, to pray, to be silent if I choose. It takes me time to adjust to new environments and new people. I want to pray in a house of worship and haven't had any luck in the past with the Roman catholic churches. I am Catholic, but I am very private and want to come and listen and pray. Is there confession at your church? I would like that when I feel comfortable. Thank you.

As circumstances would have it in the beginning of Nov. I started praying incessantly in a matter of life and death. Not for myself even though I normally prayed everyday but hadn't seen the inside of a church in many, many years. I was praying for my father and his wife who are both suffering for Alzheimer's & Dementia and were going to die if they lived alone anymore. I had a job to do but didn't know how to do it. The only resource I had was prayer and I did that nonstop but I just didn't know who I was praying to. Even though I was in foreign territory I just kept praying and whenever I needed anything it was somehow provided or I learned how to get it. The prayer worked because at least I made them safe even when they damned me for interfering. When I felt after 2 weeks non stop working on this did I feel able to breathe. That day was a Sunday morning 11/15. It was time to give God thanks and an internet search of churches brought me to St. Padre Pio Catholic Church. My first time in Summerville and I meet a welcoming Franciscan Friar Father Bob. Well after a heartfelt mass I realized who was guiding me and to whom I was praying. Without a doubt it was St. Padre Pio himself. He has restored my faith completely. I am truly indebted to him now and Pray, Hope and Not Worry because my faith and direction now come from him, The Trinity and Our Holy Mother. Thank You for being their messenger and tireless servant Friar Bob. May God Bless You now and forever!!

Hello Father Bob, Thank you so much for making our Wedding special. We loved having the Wedding in White Points Garden, the gazebo, huge old trees overlooking the bay was Awesome. Mostly, having a wonderful Priest as you are, your eyes shine with the love of God, your voice is confident and true. I couldn't have had anyone better than you. Thank you

Hello Father Bob, Wow...visited you in the hospital when you were sick and dying. I over heard the nurses talking at the desk the statements, that you were bad and the chances are slim for you. Father you have come a long way. Heaven would have gained another Angel, but God wanted you still here to be An Angel for us that you are. Love You Father and your Parish Loves You and Need you more than ever. You the REASON that I come and your Parish. The Roman Catholic Priests in Summerville judged me and wanted my money and not my soul. One of a priests looked right me, told me that I was going to hell unless I joined the church and used the envelope system and come to mass. What the hell! I walked right out the confessional room never to come back to that church. It has been a pleasure to come to you Father, your recovery from all health issues has been the Gods Gift to us.

My husband and I are so Blessed to have found St Padre Pio. To find a church where you are not judged by the Priest or parishioners is so wonderful. Please keep up the wonderful works of your ministry Father Bob! God Bless everyone who enters your church and to the lost sheep please come home to God's wonderful works!
