Hey Fr. Bob, just met you at the flower-town festival last week and was so impressed with you. Thank You for taking time to hear my confession and sharing your Catholic Church here in Summerville. I've been away from church for a while because of serious issues and the general we really don't care about you unless you put enough $$$ in the basket. Even going around and looking at other churches like those Mega-churches, even they want your w-2's to join some them.
Father you are a God send as they say and I am glad you found me. I was a Lost Sheep.

Fr. Bob, It was a pleasure speaking with you over the phone for the first time. Thanks for taking time to speak to me frankly and answer my direct questions. I also want to thank you for your willingness to speak to me in person and hear my confession. God knows it was a while and you allowed me to vent without making me feel judged by you or uncomfortable. I am a VICTIM of molestation from a priest and you showed me that GOD LOVES me and does not blame me for this CRIME. For the first time I can say that. It was not my fault and I have held all the blame inside for years. Your parishioners are very lucky to have such a wonderful priest serving them and God without judgment. Perhaps I will be returning to the Church. Not sure yet, but with your guidance and support it just may happen.

I became of a member of St Padre Pio this past summer. The church and Father Bob have been quite warm, welcoming, and supportive of myself and my family. This is my first time attending a smaller congregation, and I must admit, I am enjoying it. I believe some of you in larger churches who do not have a one-on-one relationship with your pastor should come check us out

Hello Father Bob,
Thanks for speaking with me and listening to my concerns that have been troubling me for quite some time. I will look forward to our time again and will be coming back to you for regular confessions as you gave me peace and comfort without the guilt that I held on to for a long time. I belong to another local church here in the area and can't sign this email, because of my status and position with the church. But wanted others to read this that I have found a New Friend and a Wonderful Priest that truly lives up to the calling of being a Priest. I am not saying that there aren't so many out there that are, but there are exceptions in all places. Thanks again Father Bob and after meeting you seeing why God has placed a big heart in a big man of Christ. I wanted to come to check you out so to speak many times but often put it off. When I called you I never identified myself or indicated that I had a position in the Catholic Church, but that after spending time with you, it played on my heart to share that with you. You embraced and shared the love that flows from Christ through you to me in prayer and reconciliation of my sins as priests do. Thanks see you soon.
